PAWZ for Wounded Veterans

We are honored to serve those who served with honor.

Every branch.  Every rank.  Every campaign.

Canine Support Teams’ “Pawz for Wounded Veterans Program,” provides service and assistance dogs to those brave men and women that have served our country in the U.S.Military. If you have a DD-214 and a verified disability, you may be eligible to receive a Service Dog at no charge.

Canine Support Teams provides Service Dogs to disabled veterans who are seeking the enhanced mobility, independence, unconditional love, and companionship an assistance dog offers. Whether your disability is obvious or invisible, let us help you reclaim your independence. Not only does a service dog provide assistance with daily activities, the dog serves as a bridge. People focus on the dog, not the disability. This leads to conversation and acceptance. For some veterans, their Service Dog gives them the motivation to continue the challenges of everyday life.

You must provide a copy of the DD-214 with the completed application.

Cost (CST Dog or Outside Certification): As a disabled veterans, you may recieve a CST Service Dog at no charge.

Application Fee: $50 non-refundable Application fee with your completed application.

You will be required to travel to CST for 10 sessions of Team Training (generally completed in 2 weeks). All travel, lodging, meals, & activities are your responsibility.
